Adam T. Walton is a seventh-generation Texan who calls the Texas Hill Country home. He comes by the practice of law honestly, having watched his grandfather, uncle, cousins, and older brother all serve as members of the State Bar of Texas. In 2011, Adam graduated summa cum laude from Whitefield College with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Philosophy. He earned his juris doctorate from Liberty University School of Law in 2014, graduating cum laude with a Certificate of Excellence in Lawyering Skills and Certificates of Concentration in Advocacy, Trial Advocacy, and Constitutional Law. During law school, he served as an editor on law review and published a Note addressing competing theories of ownership for underground water in Texas. Adam began his career through a series of clerkships and public-sector roles, including summer clerkships with the 58th Civil District Court of Texas, the Capital Litigation Division of the Office of Attorney General of Alabama, and the Honorable Tom Parker of the Supreme Court of Alabama. After graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Alice M. Batchelder of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, later serving as an appellate prosecutor in Comal County, Texas, and as a staff attorney for the Honorable Robert Pemberton of the Third Court of Appeals of Texas. As of 2026, Adam serves as Of Counsel with Argo Hughes Alfreds to assist the firm’s Texas-based clients.

Drawing on his experience working closely with judges, Adam has spent the past eight years in private practice representing clients across a wide range of industries and legal matters. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies involved in mass tort litigation as well as indigent individuals in need of pro bono counsel. He has advised real estate agents and investors, oil and gas companies, site-development and residential construction firms, solar contractors, medical clinics and service providers, nursing homes, landlords and tenants, property owners’ associations, finance and accounting professionals, employers, small business owners, high-net-worth individuals, church leaders, and public officials. In recognition of his dedication to the profession, Adam was elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation in 2022—an honor reserved for only one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys each year. Outside the office, Adam enjoys hiking, hunting, woodworking, grilling, and following Aggie football and Spurs basketball. His greatest pride is his family—his wife Jamie and their children, Charlotte (6) and Barret (4). They are members of All Saints Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Austin, Texas, are active in their community, and Adam serves on the board of Red Oak Hope, an organization that ministers to women rescued from sex trafficking and abuse.
