Paul Edward Burkett
Paul is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He has served as the Chairman of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and Vice Chairman of the Elder Law Section of the Alabama State Bar Association. Mr. Burkett has worked with the Montgomery Area Association of Realtors since 1988 as both a Realtor member and an associate. He assists in transactional work involving sales of businesses and property, representing Buyers, Sellers and Lenders throughout the State of Alabama. He also handles probate and estate planning matters.
Mr. Burkett was admitted to the Alabama State Bar and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama in 1994. He attended St. James School (Montgomery) & Auburn University (Montgomery) where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 1987.
Mr. Burkett earned his Juris Doctorate from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in 1994. He served as first year class senator for the Student Bar Association while in law school. He also served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Lynn Clardy Bright in the Montgomery County District Court.
